A little break.....

I will be taking a little break from blogging, just a week or two until I get my head together.
When I started this blog I didn’t realise how hard it will be, and I think I just rushed into it too fast. So anyway I have been blogging for over a month now and I didn’t even know that it was possible but I have writers block. Right now it’s starting to feel like a chore that I do and not something that I enjoy. And I so desperately want to enjoy it again.

So the point of this little “break” is for me to get my head together and work my ass off to make this blog a bigger success!!

~~ If you are wondering whether I will still be writing my awesome reviews then yes!! They will be on goodreads and later on posted on my blog so have no fear! You will still get to enjoy my awesomeness.
~~ I am still going to an annoying little shit on twitter so if you don’t already follow me then here you go and make sure you do as I will be telling you guys when I return.
~~I will work on being more funny (I know what you’re all thinking, “how could you possibly be more funny you’re hilarious already” and yeah I know but it won’t hurt to try :D)

I really REALLY want to make this blog a success and I need you guys so bear with me on this guys and I promise that I will do my very best to not only tell you guys what sort of books you need to read but also enlighten you on some very silly and stupid things that have happened to me.

So for now goodbye, bye bye, don’t miss me too much.

 Sweet Evil~ Wendy Higgins
What if there were teens whose lives depended on being bad influences? This is life for sons and daughters of fallen angels in Sweet Evil.

Tenderhearted Southern girl, Anna Whitt, was born with the sixth sense to see and feel emotions of other people. She’s aware of a struggle within herself, an inexplicable pull toward danger, but it isn’t until she turns sixteen and meets the alluring Kaidan Rowe that she discovers her terrifying heritage, and her will-power is put to the test. He’s the boy your daddy warned you about. If only someone had warned Anna.

A cross-country trip to meet her father forces Anna to face the reality that hope and love are not options for her kind. When she confronts her destiny, will Anna embrace her halo or her horns?

Cover Crazy ~3~

Cover Crazy is a meme held on Mondays, and is hosted by Tawni at The Book Worms. It's a great way to tell others about the cover that you love right now!

This electrifying new trilogy blends the best of paranormal and dystopian storytelling in a world where the war is over. And the vampires won.

Humans huddle in their walled cities, supplying blood in exchange for safety. But not even that is guaranteed. Dawn has lost her entire family and now reluctantly serves as the delegate to Lord Valentine, the most powerful vampire for miles. It isn’t until she meets Victor, Valentine’s son, that she realizes not all vampires are monsters....

Darkness Before Dawn is a fresh new story with captivating characters, unexpected plot twists, a fascinating setting, and a compelling voice. Written under the name J. A. London by a talented mother-son team, the trilogy is perfect for fans of True Blood and the House of Night and Morganville Vampires series.

On My Wishlist ~2~

On My Wishlist is a fun weekly event hosted by Book Chick City and runs every Saturday. It's where we list all the books we desperately want but haven't actually bought yet.

The Lying Game (The Lying Game 1)
Sara Shepard
Published: December 7th 2010 by Harperteen

~I started to watch the TV series and wow it's amazing, I'm in love- I spent the whole two days watching it, pretty much non-stop. I actually didn't know the show was based on a book and after I found out I decided to check it out. Even though the show is obviously different I still want to read the book.~

Summery:

I had a life anyone would kill for. Then someone did.

I may not remember much, but I know I led a charmed life. Even in death I’m getting something no one else does: an encore performance, thanks to Emma, the long-lost twin sister I never got to meet. Now, in order to figure out what happened to me, Emma needs to become me. But can she laugh at inside jokes with my best friends? Convince my boyfriend she’s the girl he fell in love with? Hug my parents good night like she’s their daughter? And can she keep up the charade even after she realizes my murderer is watching her every move?

Let the lying game begin.

So what's on your Wish list?
How do you picture him? ~3~

How do you picture him is a meme that I will be hosting every two weeks or so picking out some of the dreamy boys from books that I'm sure we all want to drool over

But I do like this one ^

Sam Roth- I love him,  he is sooo cute!! So yeah- I was on a mission to find the perfect guy that could look like Sam. The truth? I failed, there isn't a guy on this planet that I could just say yup you would make a great Sam. He is one of a kind. And that's why I love him. When ever I read any of the Mercy Falls books I never fully picture Sam. I know what he would look like but it's really hard to put a face on him. So anyway. I sent about 20 minutes looking on Google for someone that could possibly be him and this is what I found. xxx

Waiting on Wednesday ~5~

 The Hunger Games~ Suzanne Collins.

Could you survive on your own, in the wild, with everyone out to make sure you don't live to see the morning?

In the ruins of a place once known as North America lies the nation of Panem, a shining Capitol surrounded by twelve outlying districts. The Capitol is harsh and cruel and keeps the districts in line by forcing them all to send one boy and one girl between the ages of twelve and eighteen to participate in the annual Hunger Games, a fight to the death on live TV. Sixteen-year-old Katniss Everdeen, who lives alone with her mother and younger sister, regards it as a death sentence when she is forced to represent her district in the Games. But Katniss has been close to dead before-and survival.

~ Yeah yeah I know what you're thinking, what the hell is wrong with you haven't you read this yet?! Well no! Not yet anyway! I had it on my wish list for over a year, but I never got the chance to buy it, and I didn't really know if I would like it. Now with the movie out I had no idea what to do, do I read it? Or do I wait until the whole fuss about it is over. Well I don't know, I know it's a good book, but is it something I would read? Well hopefully.~

What are you waiting for?
Teaser Tuesday ~2~

Teaser Tuesday is a weekly meme hosted by MizB of Should Be Reading.  It's a way to give others little tasters of the book you're reading, without any spoilers!

Forever Maggie Stiefvater- is the third and last book in her Mercy Falls series *starts to cry* yes after the end of this book everything ends! Okay so not everything but I fell in love with this series as soon as I opened the first page of Shiver.

So as this is the last book I'm going to do something different- I will have one awesome quote from each of the books!

Shiver- page- 2
"I remember this: his yellow eyes"

Linger- page-  63
"This was not real life. This was life as watched through a window"

Forever- page-84
"The only thing I couldn't bring myself to put away was the sadness of missing Grace"

~ So I hope you guys enjoyed that- I know I did, and if you haven't already read these books what the hell is wrong with you? Are you living under a rock? I know I have and I regret not picking these books up sooner!!~

Review: Any Love But Mine~ Debbie Davies

Look but on't touch has never been more true...

The gods forbade her to love, but love is a powerful force. Acacia has been created purely for Eros' pleasure but discovers within moments of being summoned into his presence that he has no interest in her whatsoever. Rejected, she is banished to Earth to serve as Eros' minion with the task of promoting the blissful state of love among all those around her, a state she must never indulge in with a human being herself on pain of immediate destruction. And then comes Josh, someone whose power of attraction over Acacia is so intense she will find it utterly impossible to resist him. But is he human? Is he a god? Or is he a trick of the gods? And what would happen should they kiss?

I was quite surprised how it turned out, I don’t like Greek mythology unless it’s a film, but I enjoyed this book nevertheless.
Don’t be fooled by the first chapter it might seem all Greek Gods and Goddesses and look really confusing and believe me I was confused, but the rest of the book is set in our world.
I really liked how it was written however it was too much, if it were a small short story then I would be all up for it, but it was just too much and too in your face. It was really hard to get into, every single detail was described so much. I got really lost in the way all the characters spoke, and how they acted I got that Acacia wasn’t human and hasn’t lived here for a long time but it was really hard to get into her head and the reasons she did some things. I totally get that she isn’t a normal teenager but who wouldn’t get upset over the terror that is highschool? And how everyone was talking about her? If that was me, I would be really pissed off.
One thing that irritated me was her and Josh’s relationship, I liked them as a couple but seriously no one nowadays would act like that, and they were taking things way too fast, and didn’t act like a couple or that much inlove, I was getting the vibe like they were stalking each other rather than dating.
I really liked what she and Luca had though, it was really different and it sounded a lot more realistic than her and Josh.
But having said that, about 60% in, the book was turning around for the better! It was really fast and exciting, it was as if it just totally turned around, even the way it was described. Even the way Acacia was feeling and thinking changed. I was quite surprised at this book, it wasn’t what I was expecting and it was a bit disappointing at first but soon enough it picked up.
I wish that the first half of the book was told in about twenty pages and got to the rest of the book.

Kissed~ A peck on the cheek.
